Actually, I cannot review yet. I have been waiting for 9 months for my appointment - the only one open, Christmas Eve. I just got a call (May) to reschedule my appointment. I thought they had an earlier available - nope - they moved it another 6 months back. 9+6+6 = 21 MONTHS for a screening appointment. Ridiculous.

Good luck getting an appointment! I scheduled 6 months in advance just to have the dermatologist cancel on me. They want to schedule me ANOTHER 6 months out, and aren't willing to budge on seeing me outside hours or during lunch. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable to cancel on someone with a diagnosed condition and force them to wait 12 months to see a doctor, without offering a single concession. Wish I could have the time back that I spent waiting for this garbage provider.

I scheduled the appointment very easy 5 days before the appointment date. I entered in my scheduled time. Dr. Simkin was very caring and diagnosed my condition after microscopical exam. He prescribed an effective medicine. After 2 weeks I became apparenttly normal. I would recommend Dr Simikin to all my friends

I've received excellent care from the provider that I see there, Elizabeth West, PA. Whether it's a face to face visit or via Duke MyChart she always provides thorough information in a competent and professional manner. On the down side, it is very difficult to get an appointment with a dermatologist and it doesn't matter if you're a new patient or an established patient. I don't know if they don't have enough practitioners there for the number of patients wanting to be seen or if there's a shortage of dermatologists in the Triangle area like there are for so many other specialists. Either way, expect a minimum of a six month wait.
