There is a funny mirror and play thing in the doctors room, which is really useful, and the colorful designs and pictures everywhere make it welcoming for kids. There's a colorful piano with a pianist playing beautiful music in the waiting area and a table where they can color and a little play area outside, too. It's a children's hospital but the bathrooms don't have a little potty or sink or stools for their small bodies.

We came in this morning for labs. In an attempt to pull labs that had been ordered by a different provider in Greensboro that weren't showing up on our portal summary, Elizabeth Whetsell, RN did some serious sleuthing on the interagency network and FOUND THE LAB ORDERS!!! She went so far out of her way to prevent a 5 year old from having to be poked any more than necessary and as parents THIS is what makes a difference. Small personal attention in such a big facility with such large volume is simply unheard of. Miss Whetsell stepped up & went above & beyond & she has our thanks.

Dave Smith at front desk first floor registration is a true kind man! He is always so uplifting and happy, we always enjoy seeing him! A blessing to Duke Children’s!!!

Staff is excellent was there for 2 months ICU nurses are nice 4th floor people are amazing if anyone from the ICU or 4th floor see this know that I miss y'all so much and that I'm glad I got to meet y'all the therapy dog's are amazing and cute

We brought our child to this provider hoping for thoughtful care regarding serious symptoms. Unfortunately, the experience left us deeply disappointed. The doctor refused to offer a clear diagnosis, despite clinical evidence and documented lab results. When I asked questions, I was met with defensiveness rather than clinical insight. To make matters worse, we received a bill for a high complexity visit and a continuity of care add on, neither of which reflect the care provided. I later realized the visit had been recorded without my knowledge or consent. While this may be technically legal in North Carolina, it is highly inappropriate in a medical setting, especially when children are involved. Our child’s symptoms were later acknowledged and appropriately treated by another provider in
