Dixie Animal Hospital provided a phenomenal experience from beginning to end. I initially came in skeptical and concerned about the quality of care my 13-year-old cat would receive, as my past experiences with other veterinary offices were disappointing—rushed exams, minimal evaluations, and generic answers that led to no real solutions. Dr. Pegalow , the vet techs, and staff have all shown me immeasurable kindness, as our babies were in their care when we had an unexpected and tragic loss in our family, exactly one year ago today! Dixie Animal Hospital is truly exceptional! Our Standard Poodle recently fractured a molar and needed to have it removed. She was also due for a dental cleaning and her yearly checkup, so we scheduled everything together. Naturally, we were nervous about how our Lucy would handle the anesthesia, extraction, and other procedures. Dr. Pegelow took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process and what to expect during her recovery. We were even provided with before-and-after photos of her teeth and the fractured molar, which was incredibly reassuring. The follow-up calls we received afterward showed just how much they care. Excellent experience with Dr. Pegelow. I took my 13 yr old terrier mix there for 3 years. They are located a bit far from me and I can no longer drive due to vision loss, and my dog now needs specialized care due to cancer surgery and incision complications, so she goes to a more specialized place closer by. But I am grateful for the time she was able to spend with Dr. Pegelow at Dixie. He is very caring and involved.

This clinic is a very professional center. Each attendant show kindness and affection for out pets. they give thorough explanation of the examinations. Not only that, but when necessary to put a pet down, the doctor and attendants show great compassion and empathy during the process. I highly recommend this hospital / clinic.
