Truly a gem in Inwood. Manny is always so thoughtful and kind, and advocates for his customers more than most insurances and doctors actually do. When I had COVID he gave me guidance on how to get a medication he couldn’t fill, and his staff helped me to get a prescription early when traveling out of town when my insurance refused to help. My family has been patronizing Dichter’s for over 30 years and I hope to do so for at least 30 more!! (And yes - the ice cream is delicious!)

Manny runs a reliable and helpful community store, and has been my pharmacist for over twenty years. We moved seven years ago, but I still go back to Inwood for my pharmacy needs. Even when the supply chain fails us, Manny sources your needs (which can take time or seldomly a return trip). He accommodates most of his patrons like friends sharing the same community values, because that’s who we all are. He is helpful, friendly, and he will even spare a blessing or a prayer, in the lower moments, when he senses that’s what you need. What a nice guy! The negative people here left out that they were repeatedly verbally abusive, and seemingly uninterested in resolving their own problems. No business owner wants that to affect their other customers who are friendly and patient. Don’t believe the

A small business with a community feel and AMAZING ice cream. I wanted to keep this place a secret, but I can’t anymore. I paid $2.50 for a generous scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone. $2.50! Plenty of flavors and toppings to choose from along with a seating area. I know it’s a pharmacy, but who says you can’t get a treat while you’re running errands.
