D'Iberville Veterinary Hospital

Great care and happy overall with their service. However, it would be outstanding if they had an additional person at the front desk as when they place you on hold, it’s easily >10 minute wait. The current person puts you on hold without waiting for a response to get “D’Iberville Veterinary Hospital, can you hold?” *click*. Additionally, at least saying “we’re a little behind” would go a long way as I always have to expect a 15-20 minute wait past my appointment time to be called in with my dog.

I recently had to put my good boy down. He lived a long 14 1/2 years. I knew it would be time when I brought him in but man hearing just how bad his health had gotten I couldn’t be selfish, I hugged my boy and cried. The vet and assistant were so compassionate. They could tell how distraught I was and were just so gentle and soft spoken while I had to make a decision. I was able to hold my boy as he was passing. Losing pets are extremely hard!! But the staff and the front desk were all just so compassionate watching how devastating it was for me. The process is difficult but having people around who care how they did make a world of difference. I thank you all!! My good boy Max! ❤️

I came to D'Iberville Veterinary Clinic, and Dr. Jeffery Comstock, the veterinarian there was absolutely amazing. They squeezed me in, reassured me, and treated both me and Izabella with kindness and compassion. They took the time to explain everything and let me know that things were going to be okay—and that the situation was not nearly as bad as what Dr. Wilkerson, at Big Ridge veterinarian clinic had told me. The difference in care was night and day. At D'Iberville Veterinarian clinic, I was treated with respect and empathy—like a worried pet parent who truly loves her dog—not talked down to or made to feel small. After feeling belittled and dismissed at Big Ridge veterinarian clinic, Dr. Comstock and his people restored my trust and gave me peace of mind when I desperately needed it.

Dr comstock is rude to his employees. We can hear the way he talks to people through the thin walls. He degrades them and discusses patients loud. I have changed doctors. My dog had badder stones. She needed help and he was heard in the back hallway complaining about us being there to his staff. I recommend you find a new doctor.

The D’Iberville Vet Hospital’s staff is very friendly. The lobby area wasn’t really spacious but the lobby was very comfortable. There wait time wasn’t too bad and the vet doc definitely knows his stuff and he wasn’t too pushy as far as trying to get me to buy things that I didn’t need for my daughter’s fur baby. I definitely recommend this place.
