Desert View Hospital

I had a very positive experience at DVH. The facility is clean, modern, and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. I would especially like to recognize Kathleen Miller for her exceptional care in treating my arm fracture. She demonstrated a high level of expertise and took the time to ensure everything was handled properly. Her skill and attention to detail gave me great confidence, and I truly believe her treatment has set me up for a complete and successful recovery. I am very grateful for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend DVH to others.

Outstanding care in the DVH emergency department. Patients were being treated in every available space, yet we never felt forgotten or rushed. From the paramedics to the clerks and physicians — and especially the nurses, who were the true stars — everyone treated my 84-year-old mother with compassion and respect. It’s easy to criticize the system, but witnessing the dedication and real-time triaging firsthand puts everything into perspective. We left feeling safe, heard, and deeply grateful.

I went to Desert View for a problem with my eye. The ER nurse checked me quickly. Jeff was my NP and he was kind and professional. He did the tests quickly and diagnosed my condition. Joaquin was my RN and he was very friendly and kind. He took care of setting everything up and always asked if I was ok. The care at Desert View was great.

They treated my great. Been in and out of every hospital in S Nv and DVH staff was the best. I was given transfusions for a liver illness and was really cared for. Room was great and food was pretty good. Very comfortable and treated with respect.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the care my father received in the emergency room on January 6, 2026. Dr. Thomas, Felicia, RN, and Ana (UC/CNA) showed incredible compassion, kindness, and humanity. Dr. Thomas explained everything clearly and even brought a moment of humor when I needed it most, offering a comforting hug at just the right time. Felicia cared for my dad with gentleness and warmth, explaining each step, easing his fears, and even giving me a hug when I was overwhelmed. Ana's compassion also touched my heart-she noticed how distraught I was and offered a hug, and allowing me to cry on her shoulders, exactly what I needed in that moment.
