Dermatology & Laser Center of Chapel Hill

Took my daughter to treat small white bumps on cheeks (obvious milia) but instead the provider wanted to prescribe doxycycline for acne. The bumps were not red or inflammatory. I am not a medical provider so I got a second opinion and sure enough, they diagnosed milia and we are now treating the area with topical salicylic acid. Normally I would just go about my business and not go back but two things are concerning and wanted to share. One, prescribing a strong antibiotic for months for something she does not have and two, I paid $150 office visit for someone to clearly misdiagnose her. It was obviously milia. Hard, tiny bumps some with white stuff in them. Not easy to "pop", no redness, no pimple type appearance. I am glad I listened to my gut and went elsewhere.

Anyone I’ve ever met.” I adore the entire staff and Dr Adigun is a genius, an artist and I trust her with everything. Bonus is her entire crew are hilariously funny and so very talented! I ALWAYS leave with a smile on my face (but no more looking like a puppet!) LOL. 🥰

They are amazing when it comes to getting treatments for Eczema!! I had a really bad case with my eczema all around my eyelid and on my arm and it was such a relief that my mom found this Dermatologist because I couldn’t handle my eczema anymore and now I feel so much better now that I used the treatment they gave me!! If I could give these guys 10 stars I would!! :D

Knowledgeable doctor. Staff was lovely. I did have a billing issue/miscommunication. The staff worked through that with me and we came to a fair compromise. Having a team that will work with you through snags in service is really the mark of a great team.
