Dermatology Institute Brevard

I have gone to this office for several years and I will say this is a wonderful, caring office! I just recently saw Andrea Webber Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025; who was remarkably kind, professional, and exceptionally caring for the procedure I had. I truly appreciate her taking time to discuss my concerns and options and answer my questions with patience and expertise. I also have seen Dr. Cynthia Halcin several years ago for a procedure; she was also the same. The ladies at the front desk are ALWAYS awesome, greeting everyone with a smile and making scheduling very easy and convenient! I will continue to choose Dermatology Institute of Brevard in Rockledge for all of my skincare needs and highly recommend them if you are looking for excellent care!

I would give zero stars if I could. My family and I have been coming here for nine years, since we first moved to the area. My sister and I turned 21 last year and had to get on a new insurance plan, which is a "point of service" plan. If you don't know what that means, it essentially allows the cardholder to go anywhere (even out of network) and the insurance company will cover it. I had an appointment scheduled a year out and got a text from them today (the appointment was supposed to be next week) that they "didn't accept" my new insurance and had canceled my appointment. So I called my insurance company and confirmed, with a spokesperson, that any place I go to doesn't have to accept my insurance because I have point of service (POS), which is the whole reason we have it. Great experience with Dr. Andrea Webber! She called us and talked to us personally about our pathology results. How refreshing that was so we could get all of our questions answered right away. 5 starts with this Doctor. Bravo!

I've been going there for years. They knew they didn't accept my insurance, so I always paid cash. They called yesterday to confirm they still didn't accept my insurance but I could pay cash. This morning, I was on my way to their practice when they called and said they would no longer see me. My cash is no good. They'll only accept their in-network insurance companies. This goes to show they're only in it for the money, not for the patients. Disgraceful.
