The office staff was not welcoming or friendly. Patients are reaching out because we're seeking help and support, so kindness and compassion should be the first step. Unfortunately, this first impression was enough for me to look for care elsewhere.

Dr. Tobkes came highly recommended by my coworker, and now I see why. He was extremely attentive. He took a lot of time to listen and take notes. He explained everything to me in detail. I was not impressed with the medical assistant who took my vitals, but that was negated by how positive my overall experience was with the office and with Dr. Tobkes—which is why I still gave 5 stars.

It only took a few days following my referral to see the doctor. That was a huge plus. Every office person I encountered were friendly. Dr Tobkes was very personable and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable with him and trust him with my care.

My best friend Michelle, highly recommended me to see Dr. Tobkes. Dr. Tobkes and his team were very upbeat, professional, and pleasant. Dr. Tobkes was very understanding and set me up on a mild treatment plan for me - it was not anything aggressive nor he didn't place me in a category like my past Gastroenterologist. I highly recommend seeing him for any acid reflux or other concerns!

Kind- competent -intelligent -capable -humane -compassionate are words that easily come to mind when thinking about Dr Tobkes. He is a physician who works with the patient, and is patient, who listens. He helps you return to GI health and maintain GI health by putting in place a good treatment plan- and updates the plan when necessary! A warm thank -you to Dr Tobkes and his staff .
