Dentistry for Children - Gainesville

Really great dental practice. Despite them being very busy in the office they were very quick to call my son back and begin working with him. It was his first dentist visit and every staff member was very sweet to him and encouraging him through every step. The dentist was very thorough and spoke to me clearly about his treatment plan and outlined everything they were going to do. The ladies at the front helped me book his next appointment and told me exactly how I would be contacted for further instructions. I wish this had been my dentist when I was little. Every aspect of their practice is child oriented. Highly recommend and they accepted my insurance!

To start off, many of the front desk and back clinical staff genuinely try to advocate for patients and support families. However, in my experience, it often felt like the focus from management and higher-ups was solely on increasing production. There were many times when parents asked to opt out of small treatments they felt they could wait to complete. Back Staff would try to respect that, but we were often heavily questioned about why procedures weren’t “added in,” and management would step in to continue pushing treatment with parents, and staff were left with confused parents being questioned about it. One example: A Sealant was originally recommended by a Doctor, and she reminded me to 'bill insurance'. I explained that the company already covers it as a re-seal every three years,

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after two visits to this office with my children, I feel strongly that other parents should be aware of our experience. Our first visit took nearly two hours for just two kids. We waited in essentially 30-minute intervals between X-rays, cleanings, and briefly seeing the dentist. The office felt extremely corporate and overcrowded, with very little personal interaction, something that matters deeply when trusting people with your children. While I understand the one-parent-only policy due to space, it was frustrating to repeatedly wait simply because there were no open chairs available. Took my 2 year old for her first dentist appointment ever. She was so scared & crying but the staff made her feel so comfortable & they were so accommodating & patient with her. They even let my husband & I both go with her to make her feel more comfortable. She ended up doing amazing! Would recommend this place to anyone!

Easy scheduling and check in. I brought 4 of my 5 kids in on the same day for a cleaning. 3 of them were done in about 30 minutes while the older one took a little longer. Wished they would have kept me updated better on why it was taking longer but overall great experience. Will be back.
