Everyone has always been so helpful and efficient when I've needed them to take care of my indoor cat. He was sick with a UTI and from the moment I dropped him off I was greeted with a friendly smile. Knowing he was in good hands. I was later contacted by Dr Galbraith with an update and told what the next steps would be and what to expect for his treatment. Picked him up later that evening, again was greeted with a smile and given his medications and instructions again, making sure I understood his treatment. I highly recommend!

Everyone is so kind, professional, and genuinely cares about the animals they treat. The veterinarians take their time explaining everything clearly and never make you feel rushed. They go above and beyond to make sure your pet gets the best care possible. Whether it’s a routine checkup or an emergency visit, I always leave feeling confident that my pet is in the best hands. The clinic is clean, organized, and welcoming — you can tell the whole team truly loves what they do. I’m so grateful to have found DeKalb Animal Hospital and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my furry family member. Highly recommend to all pet parents! 🐶🐱💙

Brought in my Great Dane for a spay. Staff is fabulous and treated my girl with love. Amazing that they have the option for laser surgery and a vet on call after hours. Very happy with this practice and highly recommend.

My daughter took her fur baby here and they did absolutely NOTHING and charged her over 300$ they said they tested him for hook worms and nothing was wrong. Note the lady told her she knew that it probably wouldn’t run properly because she only came out with a small dot on the stick but she didn’t won’t to re stick him. They couldn’t tell what was wrong just sent him home with a few medicines. After a a few days he was no better so we called back to be told to bring him back I asked if we would have to repay and got told YES! So we decided to take him to Fort Payne vet. When I tell you they are the ABSOLUTE best I mean that! They ran the same test plus did X-rays and figured out what was wrong yes we had to pay them 300$ as well but they actually found out what the issue was! So with that

Super nice people! Front desk, techs, and doctor. I went in right before they close for lunch (12:30-1:30) and they offered to keep my dog for me so I didn’t have to wait with her for an hour. It wasn’t fast, but they were very busy and I’d much rather them be thorough than quick. You can tell they really care about animals there. And the office cat is a sweetie pie :)
