My child’s appointment was scheduled for 1:00 PM, yet after waiting over 30 minutes, she still had not been seen. The only explanation I was given was that “other people showed up early” and were seen ahead of us. This is not an OBGYN or emergency setting where schedules are unpredictable — orthodontics should reasonably be able to run on time. When we arrived at 1:00, the office was dark and the team appeared to be on lunch, yet the waiting room was full. This suggests either overbooking or that patients are seen in the order they arrive rather than by appointment time. If that is indeed your policy, it is neither fair nor practical for patients who arrive on time. My 4 sons all went to Degise back in high-school. Now, my granddaughter is going to Degise atm. He is an awesome dentist.

This is a very friendly practice with superb staff and flexible scheduling. Dr. DeGise was very gracious to allow my son to shadow him at the office while explaining many of the procedures and sharing facts about his own educational background. My son immediately felt comfortable at the office and thouroughly enjoyed his day. Both of my children have been Dr. DeGise's patients and I would certainly recommend this practice to anybody.

Dr. Degise and his assistants are wonderful and never a bad experience with them. If you can get past the extremely rude receptionist in the Peoria office you’ll be fine. Almost transfer my daughters care after each phone call with her; just try to remember Dr. Degise is providing the care and only have to deal with being treated like a piece of garbage for a few minutes for my child to get excellent care.

Everytime I come in they are so nice and welcoming, and my braces journey has been really good with them. It seems like there staff is like a little family because there is like pictures of them on the walls posing all together lol. I really enjoy coming here!
