Dr Barkley is the best endodontist and was absolutely AMAZING, as was his staff! I had never been to his office and I had a root canal done recently there. I get very anxious when I have these procedures (sadly I’ve had quite a few done) because I have had horrible experiences in the past. I went into this one with the same anxious feeling and five minutes into the procedure I relaxed simply because of Dr Barkley’s ability to numb my gums with almost no pain associated with the needle. He explained to me what to expect before starting any of the steps in the procedure which helped to keep me relaxed. I have never experienced such a painless dental procedure. Typically I would not call a trip to the endodontist a pleasant experience, but that changed the moment I walked into Dr. Barkley’s office. From the warm and inviting waiting room to the sweet and friendly receptionist, you are made to feel at ease. Essential oils on my patient bib, a warm neck pillow, great music playing, and sunglasses to keep the bright light out of my eyes, had me ready for a nap. The shots to numb you are typically the worse part for me, but Dr. Barkley is so skilled with a needle, that I barely felt a thing. Although he warned me I might feel A sting, I did not. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Barkley’s office! Everything is run so well, it’s impressive. They stayed late to see me right before a holiday. Carissa at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Dr. Barkley knew what was wrong within about a minute but he also explained it and showed me what was going on. Cassie the technician was wonderful, she helped me feel comfortable and I even got essential oils and a hot pillow for the procedure. This root canal was easier than a normal filling! They were lightning fast but thorough. And best of all, I left in no pain! Most people do not look forward to having a root canal. However, if you need one, I recommend Dr. Barkley. The entire team at Barkley Endodontics make you feel welcome and comfortable throughout the whole process. I was on the waitlist and Carissa called in the morning to get me in for a late appointment the same day. She explained the services and fees. When I arrived, she greeted me and made me feel welcome. Dr Barkley and his staff are phenomenal! Talks you through your procedure and tells you everything he’s doing. Makes sure you’re comfortable. His girls were so sweet and helpful. Didn’t feel a thing getting a root canal done! 10/10 recommend!
