David E. Urbanek, D.M.D., M.S. - Midwest Oral Surgery

I started a long process with Dr. Urbanek two years ago involving multiple surgeries. Is his office cheap? Not even a little bit. BUT I have 100% confidence in his treatment plan. He is thorough, answers as many questions as I can throw at him, gracefully handles my MAJOR dental anxiety without judgement, and his staff are amazing. If you’re looking for budget work done quickly, look elsewhere. But if you are looking for someone who does not cut corners (and who wants that with your health?), is up front with payments and treatment plan, and just generally makes a painful and anxiety-inducing situation easier than I highly recommend. His surgical skills and expertise on cutting edge practices are exemplary. 10/10

I was quoted a price when i had my evaluation done and after my husband had his wisdom teeth removed. For some reason the removal of my wisdom teeth was $1,000 more than my husbands. Its annoying because even after paying $700 out of pocket and my insurance payed $1200, I'm still receiving bills from this office saying I owe money. I wish I would've been told an honest quote. I would've went elsewhere for sure. The response was that they raised their prices. ridiculous.

This review is way overdue. Last May, I saw Dr. Urbanek for wisdom teeth removal surgery. Dr. Urbanek took the time to explain to me in details about the surgery so that I knew exactly what to expect. Following the surgery, there was some infection in one of the extraction sites, so I had to have follow up procedures done to drain the infection. The whole process itself was very scary and painful, but Dr. Urbanek and his team took EXCELLENT care of me. They got me in in a timely manner for follow up procedures. When Dr. Urbanek had to take the previously scheduled time off, he even called me from his personal cell phone to check in on me to make sure I was recovering well. The doctor that covered for him also took excellent care of me. Upon his return, Dr. Urbanek got me in immediately aga

My dental implant procedure was free of any discomfort. If I ever need oral surgery again, I would gladly return to Dr. Urbanek for the necessary care.
