Cypress Orthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry

I have three children, aged eight, six, and four. We've been visiting this dental clinic for six years. Initially, it was okay with no major issues. However, our recent experiences have been very unpleasant! Since I started bringing all three kids together for appointments, they have been taken to different rooms at the same time, which means I can't be with them all the time and have to shuffle between treatment rooms. Once during a visit, as I was checking on my children, I suddenly found one of them vomiting. The dental assistant didn't let him sit up but instead kept him lying down, trying to suction the vomit out with a water machine. My child continued to retch, and I was shocked! The office was okay. It feels a bit dated. What really bothered me was that it was a first time visit with my two young daughters and no welcome or tour or information was provided. They were called in separately without me and I was left running around trying to be with both of them simultaneously which resulting in me having to get information from them instead of the techs and doctor. My 8 year old said to me that the woman that came in to review her teeth was very rude and kept telling her that her teeth were very dirty -- not something you say to a child with zero cavities, who just brushed, and its their first visit. Either way, the doctor was fine but I am still on the hunt for a pediatric ortho. Not too many options.

3 of my 4 children have been going to see Dr. Lin since 1 year old, my oldest is now 21. We've been with her for 15 years. In the last 4 years the quality of care and office staff have really gone dow. Three years ago we tried finding another dentist, which was not a fit for our family, due to a change in insurance. Finding a dentist is hard, children don't necessarily enjoy dentist offices. We'd found Dr. Lin to be great and recommended her to everyone we knew, I'm a teacher, so people often ask. With my youngest we are now seeing Dr. Le for braces and we are now leaving the practice. Dr. Lin has become rude, impatient with children, and doesn't return phone calls. Her office staff, who just by speaking to them are clearly uneducated, are also ignorant of what is going on with my account.

Update: that lady dentist is horrible!!!! The best advice ever stay away from this place. I had exchange words with the lady dentist on today because she had an intern cleaning my daughter’s teeth. She going to say she need cleaning every 3 months. Who is that based off? The intern or yours? You never once checked inside of her mouth. I tried to find other care for my daughter’s braces but was unable too. I sincerely I can’t wait for my daughter to stop coming to this place. I wouldn’t recommend this place for someone who is wanting their dog teeth cleaned. Free advice find somewhere else to go for your children, because the quality of care is horrible. The staff is incredibly caring, the providers are knowledgeable and gentle, and my daughter is excited for the beautiful smile they’re creating for her. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else! I’m confident in all their skills and operations, they’re clean, and have created a fun environment for their young patients. It’s always a quick in-and-out with virtually no wait time too...they’ve got the formula right!
