I have never had a more unprofessional, disrespectful, and dishonest dental visit in my life. This was my first visit, just going in for a routine yearly cleaning. Everyone was friendly and engaging up until they sent the patient coordinator in to discuss my bill before they even did my cleaning. She proceeded to tell me that after insurance my cleaning THEY RECOMMENDED would cost me $888 out of pocket. When I questioned the price and why it wasn’t covered under my insurance. She said it was because this was the level of cleaning the doctor had recommended. When the doctor was in the room, he told me overall my gums were healthy but 1 or 2 spots were early signs of periodontal issues I needed to watch.
