Customer Reviews
This pharmacy sucks on customer service. They have screens to sign in with and nobody greets you at the counter like any other pharmacy in town does. Not visually impaired friendly at all. And then when you do fill out the screen with your information it takes 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge you and get your prescription because they are too busy talking behind the counter. Sad. Dont choose this pharmacy.
I had a very negative experience at this CVS pharmacy today at approximately 11:25-11:30am. While staff did attempt to help at first, the pharmacist was dismissive and immediately assumed my prescription order was fraudulent with just a glance. He refused to make any checks/calls to the clinic/provider for confirmation. When I attempted to ask what I could to follow up or what steps I could take to show the order was legitimate, I was told repeatedly to "try Walgreens". This is unprofessional conduct and showed an extreme lack of patient care and consideration.
As someone with chronic health issues, I pick up prescriptions on a weekly basis. This pharmacy is obviously understaffed resulting in long waits at times. This by itself is frustrating but generally something I can roll with but when my doctor gives explicit directions via email (with a screenshot to prove it) and the pharmacist lies about it, wasting hours of my time on a day I was leaving town, I’m done and moving on to another pharmacy.
If you have all day to stand in line for much needed prescriptions this is the place for you. They dont even acknowledge that you exist until it is your turn. I feel so appreciated here. Not!
The Managing Pharmacist at the Hazel dell location has a complete unwavering bias against individuals that have Shedule 2 prescriptions filled there. He believes that his feelings are more important than what your doctor has provided you. I would never use a CVS pharmacy for my prescriptions after the discriminatory, borderline illegal refusal to fill a prescription, and pay out of pocket for that prescription because I didn’t want to wait for a prior authorization to be approved. Even though the prescription was from my doctor, he verified that it was a legitimate prescription by personally speaking with the doctors medical staff. Also, verified that I do and have taken this medication through the DEA medication tracking program. In addition refused to let me pay out of pocket for it. T
