CVS Pharmacy

The pharmacy fills prescriptions quickly so you don’t have to wait in long lines. The employees are friendly and helpful when needed. The phone system is terrible. You have to wait for somebody to call you back. It doesn’t work well for me if I am calling to find out if they have a specific prescription available while at the doctors office. I use a different pharmacy for all my other prescriptions. If they got rid of the phone system, I would probably switch all my prescriptions to CVS. Drive-through service is quick and easy. Overall, it is a good store. Location is easy to get in and out of. .

This is not the CVS that I used typically. My CVS never seems to have a new prescription that doctor has ordered. I get a text telling me that it will be there in 2 days. Then I never here any other communication from them. When I called the tech tells me medication is on back order. I have to asked if any other CVS has medication in stock. I feel has a common courtesy and good customer service that I should have been informed!

Didn’t Even Run My Insurance! I went in to pick up one of two prescriptions. (They were out of one). At checkout, I was being asked to pay $35. I said, “Is that with my insurance??” The guy helping me at first said, “Yes…” but looked at it and said, “No; someone didn’t do their job today.” I’m again told there is an “issue” with my insurance and “we can give a discount and you can pay $18.” NO! I have insurance. Finally my insurance got a call and CVS’s mistake was corrected. My cost: a few cents over $1.00. There were up to 6 people working in a very dirty area behind the counter. No one cared to run my insurance! I could have left there paying full price!! IF there were an “insurance issue,” (which there wasn’t 2 days prior)- I should have been called!

I had the worst experience at cvs Brambleton. Yesterday the day before thanksgiving. Refused to fill my prescription even after my doctor faxed over to the pharmacy that it was OK to feel early. In fact. She said she didn’t want me as a patient. So I was stuck with having to get my doctor to change everything back over to kroger. It was an anxiety / nerve pill. That I really need on the holidays. I have never in my life been talked to like that. She didn’t want to help me. She judged me. This won’t be the last time you hear from me about this. Ended up in er for this. Please stop going to cvs go to Walgreens or kroger or Walmart. BE AWARE. Don’t let this happen to you.

The one pharmacy tech (male) is always a smart ass. And he acts like he doesn't want to help me. The girls are so nice though.
