CVS Pharmacy

I just wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at the CVS on Bradford Street in Provincetown. I have to say, it's one of the best CVS locations I’ve ever been to! The pharmacist there is consistently helpful, answering all my questions with a friendly smile. It really makes such a difference when you're in need of guidance. Plus, everyone else in the store is so nice! It feels welcoming every time I visit. If you haven’t been by lately, I highly recommend popping in next time you’re in the area. Friendly, professional service at the CVS I use: Provincetown, Boston (Boylston St., Columbus Ave.). However, the new system requiring users to 'sign in' for pharmacy pick up is horrible, as the touch screens do not typically work properly, keys stick, and no one seems to care that the touch screens used don't seem to be kiosk type reliability. Fix the touch screens or remove them.

The PTown CVS is great. We needed an emergency Rx filled and pharmacy was on top of it. No worries, plus a coupon for gum.

I’ll start this by saying the floor staff and especially the manager are very kind & helpful people, this review is for the pharmacy staff. The experience I had today with the head female pharmacist and the short haired female pharmacy tech was outright horrible. I tested positive for Covid and needed to get medicine and other supplies my doctor told me to go get. I wore a mask, and as I was trying to tell the tech I would hold the items up so she could scan them no contact, she pointed her finger at me and LOUDLY said “YOU SHOULD NOT BE IN THIS STORE” when I explained my doctor had sent me, she along with the lead Pharmacist told me I should have had someone come get the items for me. I explained I don’t have anyone to do that for me and I’m doing my best. She continued to berate me, qual

It is my hope that CVS staff will reflect on the issue that caused me upset and ensure improvement as a result of asking how they can change to avoid a recurrence of the intense stress for me as a patient/client and perhaps for them. They are part of a critical medical team for patients/clients yet their interaction with me about filling an insulin prescription lacked any recognition of this partnership I thought I had and frankly need with my pharmacy team. Sadly have typically experienced more respect and understanding in just about all other transactions in my 78 years .
