CVS Pharmacy

This was a specific situation we had and won't apply to many. That said, if you're looking to fill a prescription for controlled pain medication while on emergency Medicaid do NOT send it here. They will fill it but they can't give it to you if you're paying out of pocket. So if your only way to pay is out of pocket you are SOL. They did not explain it well but that's the gist. They did nothing to help resolve the situation in any way leaving us to play telephone between them and our provider who were very confused. Which wouldn't have been that big a deal except our provider decided we must be mistaken and refused to move the script anywhere that would actually give it to us for three days during which my wife had to manage with just acetaminophen and ibuprofen. The pharmacy team at Lumberton CVS this Saturday afternoon was amazing. Courteous, friendly, and believe it or not, smiling. Thank you for such a rare CVS experience. We thought that being rude and miserable was a job requirement at CVS. Today has renewed my hope. Thank you.

Terrible customer service by the pharmacist. I was waiting over 5 minutes and he did t even acknowledge me, however, the caucasion female was acknowledged as rung-up. He serviced the drive thru and completely ignored me. I was just there to ask for a blood pressure check. I contacted Walgreens and needless to say they told me to come right over. As an African American, I will NEVER patronize this location and encourage other ppl to follow suit.
