CVS

The staff here are generally really nice but the wait times are insane. I typically wait over 30 minutes in line to get my prescriptions. They really need to staff more people or figure out a different system.

I recently visited this CVS location and had an unfortunate experience with one of the pharmacy staff members. I arrived a bit early, not realizing the pharmacy wasn’t open yet. I approached a pharmacy technician at the register to ask what time they opened and if I could check in my prescription in advance. Rather than simply answering my question, the technician, who identified herself as “Vala,” walked away while mumbling something under her breath that I couldn’t understand. Her tone and conduct were dismissive and unprofessional. I fully respect that staff may be busy or that certain processes may be unavailable before opening hours, but I believe customer inquiries should still be met with basic courtesy and clear communication. This experience left me feeling disrespected and frust

There is almost always a 10-15 minute wait to pick up my prescriptions here. They don't have enough staff. I've always been able to talk to a pharmacist if I had questions though. It's not that I feel this place is endangering my health, but it's far, far from convenient. I was transferred here when the store near my house closed. I remember complaining about THAT store being a pain, but now my CVS experience has descended further into corporate hell. Adding to my frustration: if you want any over-the-counter stuff, almost all of it is locked up and they don't have call buttons to summon an employee to unlock it for you.

some of the folks working the check out are really wonderful but this pharmacy has perpetually overcharged me and i have to spend hours on the phone with insurance and the pharmacy to right it. if you use this CVS, keep a close eye on what they charge you. one month my Rx was $10 the next it was $30 when there was no change at all to my insurance or dosage.

Worst Pharmacy ever. I was transferred here when the CVS/Target closed in Oakland. Got there 1+ hour before closing but the line was so long and moving so slow... they eventually closed with 6+ people still waiting in line and just said "The computers shut down you have to come back tomorrow" Fortunately - in my case I could wait but what a waste of time, I'd recommend sending your prescriptions literally anywhere else - especially if your prescription is urgent and you need it the same day. I do not blame the pharmacists. I understand that they are understaffed but considering they had just shut down the Oakland location they could have reallocated staff and extended hours... this is CVS not a mom and pop pharmacy.
