Curis Waynesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

My father was a resident at Avante in Waynesboro the first of this year (2017). Most of the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was cooked on site and awesome! However, there were serious issues like the fact dad wasn't able to feed himself and food would be left on his tray hours later! Complaints didn't help! Clothes disappeared and never seen again, even though they were clearly labeled. They supposedly were sent to the on-site laundry and never seen again. The fact they were nice clothes makes one think they were taken off premises! How frustrating for family and staff go to get him dressed and his clothes were gone! The staff is super sweet & very responsive. They have a great attitude. We felt very comfortable with Moms care for the first time. They were also very thorough with their approach to her care!

Mom, age 95, has been well taken care of during her stay at Curis. Her health issues have been addressed by knowledgable PT, OT,and Speech personnel. Her everyday care has been excellent with caring nurses and CNAs. She's on the road to recovery!

This facility was clean & well maintained. The receptionist was friendly & helpful. The nurses were helpful in directing me in the right direction. I had a wonderful visit with Arthur!
