Cross County Cardiology - Edgewater, NJ

Hi All, I’m reading the low rated reviews and I’m completely baffled. Dr. Pumill and his entire staff including Dr. Segovia and nurses and nurse practitioner are amazing! They are caring and listen to your needs. Multiple times Dr. Pumill knew what I was feeling before I even mentioned it. He is sincere and has the most thoughtful bed side manner. His staff always go above and beyond. Please don’t let the reviews stray you. People often react in times of frustration and that’s is absolutely not a reflection of the doctors and staff. Love Cross County Cardiologist!

I wish I were able to give 0 star , this place is the worst. Scheduled a nuclear test 3 weeks ago, since yesterday we had a snow storm , wondering if my appointment still valid , luckily I got a text to confirm my appointment , so I drove 45 mins here , when I got here , 3 mins later they told me my insurance company didn't approve the nuclear test so they can't do it . Why didn't anyone call me in advance ?? Why I still got the email confirmation about my appointment ?? Is it too hard for anyone from the office to make a call to me? Never here again

I have been a patient at Cross County Cardiology - Edgewater, NJ, for seven years, and my care has been exceptional. Dr. Rick Pumill, Dr. Christopher Pumill, and Dr. Brian Bechtold are outstanding professionals who genuinely care for their patients. They take the time to listen, explain everything thoroughly, and provide the highest quality care. I also want to thank Rosemary, the office manager, for her kindness and dedication. She has always been incredibly helpful and supportive. The entire team at Cross County Cardiology is compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to their patients’ health and well-being. I had my post surgery follow up Cross County Cardiology in Edgewater with Dr. Rick Pumill yesterday afternoon. The appointment went smoothly from reception to rescheduling my next appointment. Everyone was professional and courteous. Dr Pumill was very thorough and went over in detail what to expect during my recovery. We left his office feeling well informed and relieved that everything had worked out so well.

Call your insurance first before you come, to make sure if you are covered. They confirmed received my insurance before my yearly check & ended up received a $550 bill 6 months later. It turned my insurance are not fully cover for the test. They should have tell me earlier before my check up bc I provide them with my insurance card number. The doctors are great but the business practice :/
