COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing at Walgreens

I had no idea Walgreens no longer filled prescriptions in the pharmacy. I went to the drive through to pick up my new prescription, after calling the automated system to verify my new RX was ready. I was told in a rude manner that I could pick up my prescription tomorrow. I said that I needed it today. She said let me check to see if it is in stock. It was and that I could come back later to pick it up. I went inside and they were filling it. That’s when the pharmacist informed me that Walgreens fills all its meds robotically off site! The exception is antibiotics or urgent medication. I said mine isn’t? No, it’s considered maintenance meds. I rarely use them and now will take our business elsewhere! What a horrible company!
