COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing at Walgreens

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at Walgreens today. I called at 10:30 AM to make sure my prescriptions would be started because I’m currently sick with the flu and running a 103.4° fever. The person on the phone assured me the medication would be ready at 12:30 PM, which is exactly why I called ahead in the first place. When I arrived at the drive-through at 12:30, I was told the prescriptions wouldn’t actually be ready until 1:50 PM. No explanation, no apology, and no effort to offer any kind of solution. I had to remind the employee that I had called two hours earlier specifically so they could start filling the prescriptions, and that showing up sick only to be told to wait another hour and twenty minutes is completely unacceptable.
