Costco Pharmacy

I've gone to this pharmacy for years. The pharmacists are great, but unfortunately many of the cashiers are entitled, disrespectful, and very difficult. It's exhausting dealing with such nasty acting workers when you're just trying to get medicine. I'm contemplating leaving Costco. I'm tired of being mistreated. The workers openly talk negatively about the customers.

I got to the pharmacy and Dr Kim the pharmacist said I needed to print out the prescription I had for my puppy’s fleas, which our veterinarian emailed to me. They would not accept the email. Summer, one of the Costco store managers, was kind enough to print it for me on the spot since we live in West Hollywood. I then took the printed prescription to Dr Kim who again said she would not process it as she needed to call the vet to confirm it was a real prescription and that I was not trying to fraudulently get a prescription for fleas for my dog. Totally ridiculous. I would not get any meds processed here - especially if you are in a rush.

The technicians and pharmacist staff are lovely and knowledgeable. They have gone above and beyond to help me save money with coupons when insurance doesn’t cover. They also take the time to build a relationship and remember my name.

The worst Costco Pharmacy.. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the unprofessionalism of the pharmacy staff. They repeatedly claimed to have contacted the vet, but I later discovered this was not true. As a result, I had to call both the pharmacy and vet office multiple times to resolve issues. The staff has demonstrated a lack of responsibility on numerous occasions. Refill delays have occurred multiple times, making it difficult to trust this location anymore. I will no longer be using this pharmacy unfortunately.
