Costco Pharmacy

I’ve spent over $900 at the pharmacy in pet meds in the last 10 days due to an emergency and I’ve been dealing with meds being called in by both my dogs specialist and primary vet. I’ve spoken to many pharmacy techs on the phone who have been more than helpful trying to facilitate and coordinate all of these meds. I’ve spoken to an Ashley twice and both times she has been so rude and inconvenienced to do her job. She needs some serious work on her customer service and communication skills.

Latest experience is a 1...my prescription was faxed in August 21... Two weeks later they say, "we're a little behind" While getting the run around on sign uo for texts, call before you come tomorrow...I received a text it was ready. Unacceptable.

Pharmacist and tech took the time to work on a confusing discount for one of my prescriptions- they went above and beyond. They were working with my husband and he didn’t get their names but i appreciate the dedication to their jobs and kindness to their customers. Thank you.

Asked a pharmacist two days ago about getting a vaccination and was told walk-in hours are 9-5. Showed up today at 4:45 pm and was told the walk-ins ended at 2 p.m. because too many people were showing up for vaccines and they were playing catch-up. Only 3 people in the prescription pick-up line and nobody else waiting for vaccines. I don’t like being lied to. My 15 years of doing business with this Costco pharmacy has come to an end!

I have been filling my prescriptions, and getting the flu shot, at this Costco for at least 10 years. They are so much more efficient and competent than the drugstore pharmacies I used to use. Most important, the staff is wonderful. They are polite, efficient, and go out of their way to call if there is any issue with a refill. I generally am not a fan of anything about our medical system, but Costco's pharmacy in Sliverdale is an exception: the best.
