Costco Pharmacy

CVS Goleta was so bad that I transferred the prescription to Costco Goleta Pharmacy. It took me 90 minutes from check in at the register to get my prescription. The staff was having pizza and taking breaks and ran the insurance wrong. It was awful.

After Rite Aid in Goleta closed we tried two other pharmacies with mixed results. Then we moved to Costco and have been very pleased. Today the staff and especially a Pharmacist named Chris were super friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Slow service. I scheduled appointment in advance, but waited over 30 minutes for a flu shot though no one was in front of me. Checkin was slow as well asking the same questions I have already answered when I book an appointment on line. Never will go back.

Called a new Rx in on Wednesday afternoon, felt like all would be handled, wasn’t urgent, at that time. Left a message Sunday morning, asking them to advise of status. Tuesday of the following week, called again, was advised that insurance doesn’t cover (it does, but they required a new prior authorization). Is there a valid reason why this information wasn’t provided to me in a timely manner? I know and understand that pharmacies are incredibly busy, however, there was absolutely ample time to call me, text me, call my physician- someone!!, to get the matter resolved - the fact that this step wasn’t taken, is a total fail in my eyes, in professionalism and conscientiousness. Getting the Rx is now urgent, I’ll be traveling- my physician’s staff and me are forced to make other arrangements

Dammm the costco pharmacy is sooo bad. Being there on saturday am, trying to be there by before the crowds and the front desk “girls” are too busy chatting it up when they see a line of customers forming!! Its soo frustrating!! I get it if there was not a line… but there are 2 people in line and more coming!
