Costco Pharmacy

We’ve been having our family scripts filled at Costco for some time. The staff and pharmacists are always helpful and responsive. We recently had a unique situation with our college age child needing a long term Rx filled before leaving the country for a semester. Pharmacist Phil worked his magic with inventory and insurance approval. We cannot be more grateful.

My dog is taking gabapentin for seizures. I called today and talked to Nikki about a refill. She noted that the gabapentin syrup they had on hand had two inactive ingredients that were not in the previous batch. She not only looked them up for adverse effects on dogs, she called my veterinarian to discuss this with her. She kept me informed of all this. The issue was perhaps resolved by changing the dosage so I could get capsules for him. She went far above and beyond! Thank you, Nikki for your caring attitude.

NOT OPEN AT 9. Google says they're open at 9, but that's only for 'executive' members. You will get turned away if you're a regular member.

About a month ago there was a mix-up with the notification system. They said they had my ADHD meds, but when I went to pick them up they weren't ready. The pharmacists were incredibly accommodating. One of them said, "I'm so sorry. My daughter has ADHD too. I know how much something like this can ruin your whole week; especially with the shortage going on. My name is X, and I'll be here until Y today. I'll be working on getting it sorted out for you". Most other pharmacies treat me like crack head or some other kind of drug seeker. The way I'm treated as a result of the stigma of taking stimulant medication is a huge chunk of the battle for me some days. I'm really grateful for the kindness and professionalism of those working here.

Horrible experience here today. I am a local veterinarian with DEA license in good standing and able to prescribe controlled drugs and carry them in my clinic . My dog has severe bronchitis,so I went in with a prescription for Hydrocodone cough syrup, the only effective cough suppressant for dogs. The pharmacist refused to fill it because it was for my own pet !?! He said I should get another vet to write one???I own my clinic and work by myself. So I am supposed to take my contagious dog to some clinic and pay for exam to get him some meds.I will never use your pharmacy and will tell my clients to go elsewhere also.
