Costco Pharmacy

I originally started going to Costco years ago because they were consistently less expensive. I don’t know what has happened with this pharmacy. They obviously don’t have parameters in place for the increase in business. After shopping other pharmacies, they are no longer less expensive. It’s a headache any time for pickup, insurance confirmation, availability, and one time they questioned me about the price before filling the prescription. You can do better Costco.

They told me 20 minutes for a refill and watched me wait for 45 minutes with no updates or any form of communication. just a bizarre lack of customer service or like... humanity why do I spend more money to come here? dumb of me

Costco Pharmacy has always been incredibly efficient and quick with refilling my prescriptions. I also appreciate that they consistently have a supply of one of my medications that is often on backorder elsewhere. Reliable service like this makes a huge difference—I highly recommend them!

Laziest staff at Brookhaven Costco Pharmacy. Never want to run your insurance and often just quote you member pricing. Make sure you confirm they ran your insurance and not just giving you Costco pricing. They will often tell you your insurance doesn’t cover something but in reality they just need to call your insurer to get or confirm pre authorization. They always tell you to call your insurer instead of doing the work to get you the price. Publix is cheaper (they actually run your insurance) and lit shorter wait if any. It’s a shame they provide such an inferior experience compare to overall Costco standard.

I have been going there for a few years because it seems to make sense since I shop at Costco almost weekly. But gosh, everyone there is so miserable and dreadful. Feels like they think they are doing you a favor, they hate their job and I probably have seen more friendlier faces at the post office. I will be switching to a different pharmacy.
