Cornerstone Pediatrics

We brought our two-day-old newborn son to Cornerstone Pediatrics for his very first appointment, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the tone was off. The first staff member we encountered was dismissive and never looked up from her computer or acknowledged us in a welcoming manner. We initially gave grace, assuming it may have simply been a busy moment. We were called back promptly, which we appreciated. Kemare was the only staff member who made us feel even slightly welcomed and acknowledged as new parents. However, we were scheduled to see Dr. Denny and were never informed that we would instead be seen by a different provider. In October my baby was born premature. Spent a week in NICU and had to get her to a pediatricians office ASAP once released as she was 5 pounds 4 oz and needing weight monitoring. She had been in the NICU for specifically feeding issues. Since pregnancy was wanting to use Cornerstone. I refused specifically erythromycin eye ointment at her birth because I didnt want a prophylactic that is thus far no longer reccomended in other developed countries unless there are risk factors such as the mother's STD/STI status at birth and I know can commonly cause stinging, puffiness/inflammation, etc. As side effects. To me, this is like saying everyone needs penicillin to prevent respiratory illness. Anyway, my newborn premie daughter with at that time health issues was denied healthcare or being seen

Every member is the staff I've interacted with is very friendly and super helpful. Everyone listens to my concerns and makes an effort to help find a solution. The office is organized and well run. Dr. Denny in particular is great with my kids and genuinely cares about their welfare.

I have 4 children who have been treated here since birth, over 12 years at this office. Some of the doctors are ok, however the best ones who started the practice have since retired and it isn't as good as it once was. The office staff are rude, lack common sense and honestly its just a business that is in it for profit at this point. I had them release medical records to a new place and they immediately deleted our account and refused to help when my daughter needed a refill on her ADHD meds. I told them about my situation how we had not yet gotten in with a new place to renew the script and they did not care. So please do yourself a favor and look for a place who actually cares about their patients instead of their bottom dollar!

We had been with Cornerstone since my daughter's birth, but the one time we had an issue they were entirely unaccommodating and the front desk ppl were rude. I had an appointment and was delayed by unexpected construction zones. I spoke with their rep and told her we'd be about 3min outside of the grace window. She did not say don't bother, let's reschedule or anything. Then when we got there they wouldn't see us. The lobby was empty, so I asked to be worked in...NO!! Can we be seen by another doctor...NO!! They said the doc was on call for the rest of the day for sick visits, so I asked if we could stay at the office and have one of those slots if no one showed up....NO!! After all that they wouldn't give me an excuse for the school, and then the charged me a NO SHOW fee for spit
