The Minor family is very grateful for the staff at Coral Reef Care center. CNA Julissa Rodriguez shows great care to my father and is always pleasant. She shows excitement about her job and my dad is always happy to see her. That truly means a lot that he has someone caring for him like a family member.
Coral Reef is a good facility. Spent 2 months here, the staff has been great. Sashi the ADON is really nice, she helped me when I had questions and concerns. I had a few good CNA's, two of which are Esther and Mileidis who work as a team, also Hector, Yamile, Nayra, Adrian,Yaneiris, Johnnie. They attended to my needs quickly. I also had good nurses, but the 4 I mostly got along with were; Lismary, Claudia, Shari and Maria B. They gave me my meds on a timely manner, always respectful and always asked if I needed anything. Therapy was great as well, good therapists. They helped me get my strength back being wheelchair bound I needed a lot of therapy. Ignacio, night shift supervisor, was who greeted me on my first night and immediately helped me when i had an issue and switched my cna a few
Our story at Coral Reef Subacute Care Center began in mid-May of 2024. At the beginning of May, my autistic sister, Maria, experienced a serious accident that resulted in both of her ankles being fractured. She had surgery for both ankles and was outfitted with immense boots to protect her surgical repairs. She arrived at Coral Reef in mid-May. Shortly after her arrival, she began a consistent, organized routine of occupational and physical therapy. Every day she was given OT therapy to enhance her upper-body strength and reinforce her finer motor skills. She was also given daily PT therapy to strengthen her leg muscles and to keep them limber and mobile. As soon as Mari began to have her therapeutic sessions in the gym, she excelled tremendously with the OT exercises given by Yoko Perci
This is the worse place ever. Don’t put ur parents or anyone here. These people take advantage of all the old folks here and take their money and insurance. They changed my dads insurance without letting us know he’s been discharged for 2 weeks already and they didn’t reactivare his old insurance. The nurses here don’t care about the pts. This pt was in the hall in her wheelchair and told the nurse she was lost where her room was this nurse grabed her wheelchair and threw her in another hall and just left her there. Admisssions lied to our faces while we were there talking about how they are in charge of insurances and once my dad was discharged they said they’ll handle everything. It’s been 2 weeks my dad is at the drs office and his insurance is canceled so he can’t see the dr can’t ge
There are no words to describe how sending my mom to this facility was the absolute worst thing I could have done. This is a ZERO star review! My mom was sent to this facility for rehab from a stroke. Shortly after arriving, I was called and told that her liver enzymes were elevated ant that she needed a liver ultrasound. It took SEVERAL days for her to get the ultrasound and then SEVERAL more days for me to get the results, even though I visited her daily and asked about the results. "Dr." Blanco only met with me when I told the staff I wanted my mom transferred back to a hospital, as she wasn't eating or drinking (and the staff did NOT even try to make her eat and drink...they would set the food in front of her, leave it and come back and retrieve the meals untouched). I tried to get her
