Coquina Center

I stayed here for 18 days after my hip surgery last year and everyone was so friendly and wonderful. Unfortunately I have to get another surgery because the hardware in my hip is not working out my body is rejecting it so I need to get a full hip replacement. So you never know I might be staying there again my only suggestion is the food needs to be better. Sorry I'm just being honest. But the staff is amazing and very very wonderful all of them!

My mother-in-law is a resident at this facility and I am unable to see her, even though she was in our care before she went into this facility for rehab. I am unsure why I am not allowed visitation when she has said she wants to see me. My fiancee is FINALLY allowed visits with his own mother but it has to be supervised, even though he was caring for his mom since July 2025 when she was home. We are fighting this like crazy because we have never done anything wrong to be denied visitation, but this place is siding with the wrong people and refusing to allow it. My fiancee said her health is worse than when she was at home but this place is supposed to be making her better and stronger, but he doesn't see it. Hopefully things will get better soon and things will be resolved. We love his mom

Everyone I have come in contact with at the Coquina Center has ben friendly, kind and helpful. My husband is there for rehab after having had a stroke. The food is good and the patient's care is very thorough and professional. They treat him with respect and a caring attitude. The Center is clean and a positive atmosphere exists . We are grateful for everyone who is caring for my husband, and the kindness they show me when I visit him.

My mother was moved here on Christmas eve, we spent the evening trying to get care for my mom, but the nurse assigned to her was to pissed off that, they filled the facility on Christmas eve, that all they cared about was filling beds, getting that bonus and going home and enjoying their families, while everyone had to scramble and get everyone admitted. I understand the frustration, but that is not my problem nor my mom's she is there to be cared for, no matter the day or time. I noticed a lot of frustration with patients, I took it as they were overwhelmed. Not the case, the more I visited, I noticed the patients that can move about the facility, are not treated with very much compassion, and nurses get very frustrated with patients. Good service for an issue for my Mom. Not great Communications. No one picked up the phone When my mother was transferred to the hospital to get a transfusion. Bad communication about getting things together so we can take Mom home. Nurses were great, dietician was too after Mom made her wishes known. Staff great to. Wish communications with Social Director was better.
