Concentra Urgent Care

Tried to have my son seen as this location is in network and insurance states it would only be a $20 copay. Upon check-in was informed I would have to meet my deductible for this to be covered and they would require am upfront payment of $120 to be seen. Called insurance company back and was told this was INCORRECT per my contract and it must be a facility requirement to pay the deductible. Left without being seen as it appears this location is trying to take either double dip payments- taking payment from me while ALSO billing insurance or just not billing insurance. Either way, this is incredibly suspect.

The only issue I had was that they were going to be cutting a sample of my hair and they have the room where it is done and it took the girl that was very nice and explained the procedure and tried to get the sample from my legs or my arms but I did not have enough hair to do it that way thst she had to cut my hair off my head. But she could not find the scissors. It took over 10 min for her to find the scissors and they told her they were in another room and she went to go get them but it still took her another couple of min to locate them. Once she did it went pretty fast she cut the back of my head to where you could not see the area that she cut the sample from. So my only complaint would be if your going to be cutting people's hair for a drug test have the scissors in that room. You c

Staff was friendly. The office suite could use some updates, as it is a pretty run down building. With new ownership they are still figuring out new system at check in, but wasn’t too inconvenient. Staff doesn’t seem to love all the changes and things they are having to get used to with new ownership. Kinks to work out, but overall served my needs and was treated well and with care and professionalism.

They are Quick with service and made my visit easy and fun would return for future visits rate a 10 on scale

My service was great all attendees were knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. Everyone took their time with you explained what was going on what the expectations were. Good job Concentra.
