Concentra Urgent Care

The girl at the front desk was rude and checked me in incorrectly. I had to get ahold of my company and request a new barcode. My company wasn’t able to do it the same day so I had to come back the following day. No apologies were given and I had to wait again for two hours to be seen. The provider “forgot about me” and they also said had to return in a couple days for a TB read which was not true. I felt like no one in that entire building knew what they were doing, an absolutely horrible experience. The front desk girls need to be replaced. The other people in the comments seem to think the same. I feel sorry for the people who go in there not feeling well and need medical assistance.

I recently visited Concentra Urgent Care for a drug screening test and a physical assessment, and I had an outstanding experience from start to finish. Been going for months to the foot specialist here, for a work comp case, with no real answers . I feel like I’m getting the run around. Doctor spends 5-10 min with me, most times doesn’t even examine my foot, this last time hadn’t even gotten the readouts from my MRI, total waste of time. Looking for another Doctor currently. Staff is very friendly however.

The front desk staff was quite dismissive when asked what the wait time was. Waited the time I was told then began asking when I’d be seen. Eventually the two girl who initially checked me in, simply tried to ignore me as I was standing at their desk trying to clarify a question i had for them. The lack of customer service and compassion is insane considering they are dealing with distressed customers all day. I was letting them know I was leaving and they can take me out of the queue, when there there was only one staff member that seemed to care to help instead of continuing to dismiss me, told me to hold on as she was finishing a call and took over. she is 5 stars and only her. Worst year of my life dealing with this place for a workers comp injury. The Dr consistently lied in my medical records, didnt follow through on therapies that worked and kept trying to force acupuncture even though it made my circumstances considerably worse stating " it works for most people". No matter how much i expressed pain I could never get help with controlling it.
