I visited this dermatologist because I was concerned about a possible fungus on my foot. Unfortunately, my experience was not positive. After a brief visual look, Dr. Nakib first suggested it might be psoriasis, then changed her mind to say it was eczema, all without doing any tests. She prescribed me eczema cream, which didn’t help at all. In fact, it seemed to make things worse. She also told me I needed to change my detergent and a bunch of other products I used, insisting that if I didn’t, my condition wouldn’t improve. During the visit, I also felt uncomfortable because she made an incorrect and frankly inappropriate assumption about my dad, thinking he was my husband. Dr. Nakib is an outstanding dermatologist. She is knowledgable, detail oriented, and has wonderful communication skills. She is very proactive treating potential problems before they grow into larger problems. She is also very kind, compassionate, and patient focused. I recommend her highly and without reservation.

I just had my first cancer diagnosis, and I feel completely confident in Dr. Nakib's hands. She's very busy, but she tells you exactly what you need to know and makes you comfortable even as she's burning away the cancerous growth. She also has a great staff, both at the front desk and in the examination and treatment rooms. I'm glad to be with her as I begin this journey. I continue to be impressed by this highly intelligent physician. For almost two years I've been dealing with a persistent infection in my naval. Two primaries and a surgeon couldn't figure it out, but Dr. Nakib put me on a medication that knocked it out in a few days. Great to be done with the annoyance, and great to have a physician who could solve the problem.
