Community Pharmacy Of Ormond Beach

I can’t thank that staff at Ormond Community pharmacy enough. I just moved to the area from Saint Augustine and had a very hard time finding a pharmacy that was willing to order a specific generic brand of one of my medications. I called over 20 pharmacies and could not get any help as my medication was running out it became very stressful. My initial call to them I had the pleasure of speaking with Danielle and she was excellent, so kind and reassured me she would look at every way possible to find the brand I needed. She was able to locate it and in one day I received a personal call from them to let me know it was there at the store. When I arrived I watched multiple patients come in and all of the staff knew them by name, it was such a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere in the store. I

My doctor accidentally sent my Rx to this pharmacy and pulling up 2 min before they close the lady is getting in her car telling me they’re closed. Was not kind, compassionate or helpful at all! Would not recommend this pharmacy at all. You would think they’d call me and tell me they couldn’t fill.. no, they waited for me to drive there, show up treat me like gum on her shoe.. No communication, no care in the world. Very much “not my problem” attitude. Awful first impression, what’s the point in having the word “community” in your name?? What is this world coming to? Just wow!

Kal Patel is a partner of Community Pharmacy and runs the Ormond Beach location. He is extremely unprofessional, rude and judgmental. He did not simply fill my prescription, instead he said that he is “sick of these people”. I am not exactly sure what “these people” mean. However, I have never been so disrespected from a pharmacist. What Mr. Patel fails to recognize is I have options on where to get my prescriptions filled, my doctors office can refer me to other pharmacies and I can refer friends and family to a different pharmacy. The Port Orange location is great! It is sad the other location in Ormond Beach is ran by a bigot.

This little pharmacy is the best . Everyone is very polite unlike other big pharmacy in our area , they answer the phone and you can actually speak to a real person. They always have the medication on time . They are Great!
