Community Care Family Medicine

This seems to be an on going problem. Called 8am for a same day appt for some wheezing problems. Got a call back an hour later from the nurse (not receptionist) asking If I could change my appt to 4pm because they had another more important need. Being the good Samaritan I did change stating I wanted to make sure I could still get a chest xray that late. The nurse who had an attitude the entire phone call stated I would have one ordered and could go before my appt. I showed up downstairs for the x-ray at 335. By the time I got out of the x-ray it was 405. Went upstairs they took my co pay and I waited. Next thing I know a nurse comes through the door saying my appt will be cancelled because I was late. It was 5 minutes late with 0 people in the waiting area. How this can be acceptable is m

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I have been a long-term patient at Community Care Family Practice, largely for convenience rather than quality of care. This practice has consistently lacked compassion, and my most recent experience confirmed that patient care here is secondary to rigid policy enforcement and poor front-office behavior. While Dr. Miguel Diaz has shown compassion, his availability is extremely limited. Julia Gross was the primary reason I continued care at this practice, and her departure removed the only provider whose approach aligned with my needs. I have since learned where she relocated and will be following her care elsewhere. On December 31, I arrived eight minutes late for a 10:45 a.m. appointment due to being significantly ill. I found my whole first time visit to be a positive one from start to finish. Dr Schnakenberg reviewed my records before he came in and asked questions based on that and listened to my current situation then gave me direction from there. The nurse was the best, personality and knowledgeable five stars!!

Worst office I ever had to deal with literally don’t help you in nothing you go there for. Instead of hearing me out and then recommending what will be the steps to take next Dr. Fallon Canceled my appointment 3 times & stated she isn’t a neurology. So must for caring for your patients!

I have been going here for the past 10 years and never had an issue with any provider! I have seen just about everyone, but particularly recommend Dr. Fallon Etkin, Breanna Tahany and Kalynne Green. They are incredibly thorough and take the time to listen and really understand what is going on with you, even if it means a longer appointment and more tests. Nothing is worse than having mysterious medical issues and a provider who doesnt care or believe you, but these three will always hear you out and attempt to get to the bottom of it.
