Commonwealth Health Women's Imaging Center Kingston Campus (TPS)

Apparently, if you are a little on the heavy side, you cannot fit into their small out dated breast MRI machine. Nothing like driving almost an hour after waiting six weeks for nothing. Now I have to go to a completely new facility outside of Commonwealth Health and wait another month for my test which was originally due in October! If my usual MRI center (Advanced Imaging in Lackawanna County) had a radiologist on staff, I wouldn’t have had to wait six weeks to find out that overweight people are not given equal access to breast MRI’s in Luzerne County with Commonwealth Health.

Kudos to the staff at the Imaging Center, esp Karen P. who went above and beyond to schedule me for an additional test while i was there, she kept me abreast of her progress as she navigated through the system to get the test complete so I did not have to return. Thank you for having such caring staff
