Commonwealth Health Kingston Campus (TPS)

I went for bloodwork the other week. Their lab is now LabCorp and much smaller than the other area. There were only 3 chairs in the waiting area after they checked you in for your tests. I had a long wait for my blood draw. I watched the technicians and they did not wipe the chairs and sanitize between patients. The bathroom I had to use had urine all over the toilet and floor. This seemed extremely unclean and unhygienic. I would not get bloodwork here again.

I recently had visited my primary care physician regarding a shoulder injury. As a follow-up, they requested that I get X-Rays to see what might be the cause. Being I was off for the holiday's I wanted to get it taken care of prior to returning to work. Today, Jan 2nd, I decided to head down to Commonwealth Health Kingston Campus in Edwardsville. Prior to going, I took a look at some of the reviews and there were a few to commented on the staff. I hadn't experienced this in the past and decided I would share my opinion of this trip no matter what the experience was like. Upon entering the facility, I went to the check in window where I was immediately greeted and started to check me. She was very nice and professional. I went on December 4, 2025 for an ultrasound and x-ray straight from my Doctor's office who set the appointments up through Central Scheduling. The experience was HORRIBLE at the front desk. They were very rude and seemed annoyed that they were there to work. They are the face of this facility since they sit at the front desk. They were also giving the woman ahead of me a terrible time regarding her bloodwork. People don't go there unless they are not feeling well. these women have to show a little compassion I was there because the doctor thought I was throwing a blood clot I was very worried and anxious and this just added to the anxiety I was already feeling. Will NEVER go to this facility again

I wrote a google review the other day, and was called about it , she didn't say she was a supervisor when she called until after the conversation started. Then argued with me about the review and saying signs all over the place for coinsurance due upfront. I explained to her that ded are first then coinsurance and that is why I don't pay upfront. I paid years ago upfront too much and they would not reimburse me back what I overpaid from their estimate being incorrect. I feel like I was being harassed for leaving my review which I am more than entitled to. I will be getting my tests and mammograms done at another facility in the future. I will never deal with the Saxton again!

This health system has ALOT to learn! I waited longer to register than to drop off a sample that is already in the system, along with my medical information. This is a wasted step, and the poor registers had to come and get the patients to register them!!! Lovely building, but terrible process. They may get better stars and better customer service if they started at the beginning, literally!!!
