Columbus Regional Healthcare System

Unfortunately, for me, I have had several illnesses that have required surgeries throughout the year. Each time I went to Columbus Regional healthcare system for my procedures. The excellence in their practice cannot be overstated. The place was immaculate. All of the operating staff, check-in staff and AIDES were very nice and kind. They kept me informed every step of the way and try their best to make me feel comfortable. During the time there was going to be an extra wait , the nurses would come and let me know that. I wasn’t just left laying there. One last thing… I’d like to give a great shout out to Dr. Obrecht, the anesthesiologist. He has a fantastic bedside manner and is very humorous. He made me feel very safe and comfortable. Great job gang!

Tried to take my father to the emergency room and the lady at the desk and the lady who came out to confirm if my father needed a gurney had the worst attitudes. I told the intake nurse he can’t sit in a wheelchair and she responded “oh Lord” with a dejected tone. She sent someone out to see him laying in the back of our van and she showed zero concern/empathy. We were so concerned the level of care would match the attitude la we already encountered so we took him somewhere else.

Review is for my experience in the birthing center- I had a great induction, staff were attentive and sweet. All my concerns were explained, I was treated with respect and kindness by everyone. Kelly scheduled me and provided instructions, Shelby took care of me all night while I labored and Amber was the nurse who helped me deliver my baby. I cant thank these two enough! They were a great help and always did their best keeping me comfortable. Shoutout to Bobby for a great epidural, he was awesome and communicative. In postpartum Lisa helped me with feeding and took great care of me and my newborn. Everyone was lovely! The birthing suite was big and comfortable, food was nutritious and served warm, lots of parking, registration and discharge were quick and easy too. Overall no complaints f

I went for a colonoscopy today and can't say enough good things about the staff. Cathy (iv), Magnolia, Chasity, Emily and the rest of the entire staff were top notch. Friendly and professional and you can really see they care. Several have been there a long time. I have had many procedures and hospitalizations so I know a good group when I find them. I would definitely recommend this facility.

The 3rd floor staff labor and delivery and postpartum are exceptional. We recently had our 3rd little boy and the staff treated us like family the whole time. They really made it a great experience thank you Columbus regional for taking care of my wife and little boy. Your staff went over and beyond the whole time.
