Colonial Heights Pediatrics

Been with Dr. Shahab and Dr. Iqbal since they were MY family pediatricians, and now my two kids are seen by Dr. Shahab. Every time I call, the receptionist knows me by name and if I have an urgent (non-ER) need, they can get my kids in pretty much that day or first thing the next morning. I've never had a problem with them and I am incredibly happy with the services the doctors and staff provide!

Dr. Shahab is a good pediatrician, but the office as a whole — terrible. First of all, they never answer the phone. I tried calling for 5 days straight to get my newborn back in for a one month check up, no answer. I gave up. Second, it smells terrible in the waiting room and the lighting is horrendous. Third, the nurses have mean girl energy, no smiles, no personality.

New to the area and they made our transitions very smooth. I appreciate the portal system to keep up with my kids appointments and records. I like this office... Especially with my baby being 1 month old with kidney issues they referred us right away to a specialist. That was my biggest worry on the waiting of that. We saw Dr Iqbal

I have received two bills in the mail for my one vitiate for shots for my child months ago which I paid in cash. I still have the receipt to show for it. I’m not paying 500 dollars when I already paid 200 dollars for the shots.

Honestly ive never had a problem with them before. They are super nice. They accommodate you to their best abilities. Ive been with Dr.S for 2-3 years now. For both of my kids and he treats them well they love him. They are busy ! So sometimes answering the phone is hard. But Dr. Give there work line out incase if emergency.
