Colonial Heights Dental Care

The ladies at the front desk were absolutely fantastic. I have dental trauma and they calmed me as soon as ai walked in. Helped me with an insurance issue, fixed my referral for immediately and tried to get it for today! The staff in the back were just as great. Super understanding and helpful. Asked the right questions, no judgements, and the dentist came in, we went through a care plan and what the next steps would be. They are saving my tooth!!! I am so thankful to have been told about this office. Every person I came in to contact with is a 5 star person IMO!

Colonial Heights Dental Care has been my family dentist since I was a child. They have gotten some new dentists in there since the original one retired, but the receptionist Nancy and my hygienist Tim are still there. I took Dad there yesterday, and it was a 5-star visit. He had tried & been traumatized by some other dentists that wanted to pad their income by requiring regular deep cleanings, and I think he has a better appreciation now for good, honest, basic dentistry. He was able to get a regular cleaning (deep cleaning wasn't even recommended, they said his gums are healthy), and the X-rays they did are probably going to be free (they said if his insurance won't pay for new ones so soon, they won't charge us, which is very different from the last place that charged us for X-rays they

Today was my first visit to this doctor office due to another dentist office messing up my teeth. I had a very pleasant experience and the office staff was very nice. The dentist took the time out to talk and explain the situation to me. Overall very good experience and I like that they took the time out to do the work.

This place is 💯 terrible the younger guy working on my teeth opened tools up to do the work he couldn't figure out how to attach certain tools together so he took it out of the surgery room walking up & down the hall into other rooms getting germs all over the surgery tools..tool him over two hours to put on a not permanent crown once he figured it out I had to return twice due to it falling out on its own..the 3rd time it fell out I waited for the permanent one then my luck he was due to put the permanent one in place he screwed that up as well I had made several calls asking for the owner where she refused to get him nore gave him messages very rude and unprofessional the guy that installed the permanent crown left it to where it was the only tooth that was hitting my bottom teeth it ne

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED! I broke a front tooth cap/cavity while travelling and relocating to FL from PA. I already had a serious setback to my relocation efforts before the tooth broke. So while stopped in VA I found Colonial Heights and they had a early morning availability to "glue" my tooth & "fix" it. After paying $400 for the visit, x-rays, & extra supplies to attached the facia...the tooth then broke again within 36 hrs. UGH. Upon calling the office and leaving messages...no one will return my call. I am requesting a refund. Relocation is expensive, and EVERYTHING helps! Update: as soon as the dentist saw this they gave me a call to reiterate this was my fault they informed me the tooth required more care for a permanent fix.
