I Highly recommend Coastal Vision Center, where my daddy, Gordon Batten had Cataract Surgery by Retired Dr. Gieger! Daddy and I were Impressed with his Brilliance way before 2020! Cataract Surgery use to be in Bladen County Hospital back then! Thank God, for Dr. Gieger, Brillant ,Cataract Surgeon also Brilliant, Cataract Surgeon Dr.Hester out of Wilmington to secure the needed partnership with Columbus Regional Medical Hospital in Whiteville, North Carolina! My father and I both were Greatly Pleased with the Dedicated Nurses, Sherry and Penny along with the Brilliant Optomologists, Dr.Kirby, and Dr.Jackson before Dr. White came on board! One is highest I can give and that was for reception and technicians assistance. Booked appt well on advance, received the notification on text as well as phone call confirming the day before. Arrived early and waited 45 minutes after appt time. No doctor came in. My time is important and valuable, just wish doctors would figure that out….

I carried my granddaughter today to her 1st visit with Coastal Vision Center in Whiteville and Dr. Kirby & his staff were absolutely amazing!! They were very tentative, shared laughs & hugs, treated us like family!! 10/10 we will be back!!
