Coastal Pediatric Dentistry

I am very disappointed in the service both of my children received today. We have been coming here for three years, and today’s experience was completely different from what we are used to. The staff was not friendly at all, and there was a new dentist treating my children without any prior notification or explanation. This lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable, and because of this experience, I will be switching my children to a different dental office after this visit.

My 5 year old recently had an extraction and Dr Savannah and Ms Grace were wonderful. They know how to work with children very well and nervous parents. My son was never scared and felt comfortable the whole time. Thank you. I also had a great experience with the front desk.

Absolutely horrible, I was told that although my son does not have cavities, he would need to get fillings. He was told this is due to his "bad genes". The billing department is as helpful as they are charming. The bill for two children was over $350. Sounds like they didn't put in for insurance, but trying to get a straight answer from mumbles was like pulling teeth. Needless to say, I will never step foot in their office again. And I advise everyone else to do the same.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. Two weeks ago, I brought my son in for a chipped tooth, and today was supposed to be the follow-up appointment to address that issue. However, when we arrived, we were informed that they were not planning to fix the chipped tooth. When I inquired about it, the assistant seemed unaware of the issue, which was confusing and frustrating. Given the serious concerns surrounding a past incident at this practice, where a child reportedly received excessive anesthesia, I made sure to ask questions to ensure everything was on track. Unfortunately, when the doctor arrived, they misinterpreted my concerns and accused me of saying things I never actually said, including that they would "kill" my son. The doctors are really amazing, all 3 of my kids have been seen here. However I have two stars because the front desk/billing are committing insurance fraud. I should have written this review a while ago honestly, as we don’t go there anymore due to moving but my kids had a cleaning. The way their insurance works is they can have two cleanings within 12 months. So you technically can have a cleaning and then have another cleaning a month later if you want and your insurance will cover it. They filed for our cleanings, but then filed another cleaning a couple weeks after. That is fraud, and I work in the field in billing and clinical. So, great doctors and assistants, however check your billing because that is most definitely fraud charging insurance for services that WERE NOT received. Tha
