I am a second-semester student in the Associate Degree in Nursing program, and I truly feel fortunate and privileged to be part of this school. From my very first contact, I was assisted by Georgina from the Admissions Department, who not only guided me through the admission process but has continued to support me throughout my academic journey. She is always available, patient, and professional. I also want to thank the Finance Department for their kindness and clear guidance with every detail of the process. My experience at Compumed School was bittersweet because even though there are very kind and friendly teachers, there are others like Professor Jenny, who teaches MedSurge, or did so at the time I studied there, who was very negative; her teaching methods were not only very strict, but she also had a relationship of distrust towards the students during tests and exams. It didn't even seem like she created her own exams, regardless of the learning environment. I am currently attending another school where my grades are better and the real objective is for the student to learn, not fail due to pressure and low quality of classes. Here, they sell the dream of a professional career, but the reality is a system designed to break students, not to educate them. The professors fulfill their duty of teaching the classes. However, the final exams are not created by them, but by the head of the department: a person completely disconnected from the classroom, who doesn't know the students, doesn't understand their realities, and doesn't get involved in their learning process. The result is disproportionate, unrealistic exams that are completely disconnected from the content taught. From the very beginning I have felt truly supported at this school. I want to especially thank my advisor Yaimara, who went above and beyond to make sure I could start my studies, and Fransis, who always guided and advised me along the way. Together, they made the process smooth and encouraging. I am also deeply grateful to the entire clinical team, who have always been there to listen, support, and guide me with patience and professionalism. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I am proud to be part of this institution.
