Clini Sanitas

Arrived 5 minutes early for my first appointment with my new primary care physician (4th in 4 years). Thanks Obama! After waiting for 1 hour and 5 minutes I inquired as to the long wait and was told I was next with a PA & not the MD which I had made the appointment to see. I insisted that I wanted this first exam to be with an MD and so the receptionist assigned me to another MD. She said it would be about 15 minutes. It's been 45 minutes and I'm still waiting. So far I've been waiting for one hour and 50 minutes. I'll write a follow-up review as soon as this mission is over. I am editing my post: I waited a total of 2 hours and 5 minutes. Nothing. I left. I wonder how these doctors would react to having to wait for more than 2 hours after timely arriving to a scheduled appointment. Ther

This place is extremely unprofessional. The staff is not knowledgeable or on the same page when it comes to assisting the patient. I needed a referral to see my Lupus doctor(Rheumatologists). They said that they would send the referral the day before; within an hour after the call. Got to the appointment the next day, there was no referral. Called them and was told because I hadn't seen the doctor within six months, that I couldn't get a referral. Mind you on May 12(today), I was told this while at my appointment. They said that my last appointment was in November 2017 and this is May. 5 months later. They said that they would send it and put me on hold for about 23 minutes. I called back and was told that they got an ok from the insurance company, and put on hold again, NOONE came back.

A place of business that goes out of their way to disarm you should provide adequate safety and security for their customers. This place did not have armed security or any security for that matter. If they don’t want to spend the money keeping you safe, they shouldn’t disarm you and prevent you from having the ability to protect yourself. However, the medical staff was friendly and helpful.

I would like to thank Margarita Valenzuela who works at the Sanitas Center in Kendall for her kindness, and helping me resolve an issue I had regarding my medical care . She was very professional and knowledgeable and I appreciated her taking the time to help me . Thanks again Margarita !

Banana Republic style medical service. Terrible internal coordination between Florida Blue, doctors, customer service and medical assistants. Inefficient at resolving referrals and prescription authorizations. I've spent hours at a time over several days to have issues resolved. Supervisors even shy away from giving their names.
