Clark Professional Pharmacy

I used this pharmacy for years for my cat’s compounded medication. I placed a refill this morning only to be unceremoniously informed a few hours later that Clark no longer compounds pet meds. As a long-time, regular customer, the lack of any advance notice was disappointing and created unnecessary stress, as I now have to urgently find another pharmacy while running low on an important medication that my cat needs. I am honestly not sad to be leaving them, however; their sizing and pricing were often inconsistent, and one time they put my cat’s medications under a different person’s name and address, which caused reimbursement issues with my pet insurance.

Every time I call to refill my medication I get rude, impatient employees on the line. I hate having to get my medication here because I’m always treated like I’m inconveniencing the staff by calling. Lately they have been filling prescriptions very late which is understandable if it’s an occasional occurance, but not for every time you have to refill. I can never judge when my medications will be ready and I’ve ran out of meds several times due to their backlog and non-communication about their filling timeframes. I will say that I've never been treated rudely when I pick up my meds, but otherwise I don’t have many nice things to say about this place. Wish I had an alternative compounding pharmacy to do business with.

As a whole , this pharmacy is great. I have used them since 2005 for my compounding needs. In recent few years, there is 1 particular person ( Tamara) who seems as if she is 100 inconvenienced by talking to you. I let it go quite a bit, because we all have bad days. I work in customer service, so I get it. I have talked and worked with Nathan and Mona, FANTASTIC folks. Tamara makes it very uncomfortable to ask clarifying questions, not a fan. I pay OOP for everything I get, so this is really not acceptable. I hope this makes it in the right hands and that some changes are made. I know working with the public is exhausting, but when you are that crabby, its time to move on.
