Amazing staff: very kind and understanding. They ask all the right questions and are extremely polite. prompt appointments: I got in 15 minute prior and was taken 5 minutes before my appointment time. The staff at the desk got me checked in and asked me all the needed questions ahead of time. All my paper work was done online prior to my appointment which made check in easier. great selection: the selection of frames was phenomenal. All price ranges and styles. I’ll check back in when my 3 week arrival of my glasses comes in.

I had an appointment here a few years ago or more using Medicaid, and unfortunately my experience wasn’t very positive. The staff seemed pretty disinterested and not very welcoming. I wouldn’t say anyone was outright rude, but the overall interaction felt cold and a bit rushed, like they just wanted to finish the appointment and move on. Since then I’ve gone to a different eye doctor where the staff and doctors are much more friendly and welcoming, which made me realize how much a good patient experience matters. Because of that difference, I decided to continue going elsewhere for my eye care.

I ordered a 6-month supply of contact lenses from Clarity Vision in mid-December. My insurance through EyeMed covers $150, and I was told the total was $176, so I paid the $26 balance out of pocket at the time of ordering. The lenses arrived almost a month later, which wasn’t ideal but not my main concern. At the end of February, I received an unexpected bill for $65. When I called, the front desk asked me to contact my insurance provider but couldn’t provide a clear explanation. After speaking with my insurance, I was told the claim had been submitted as two separate entries (one per eye), and that’s why only one portion was covered. Although I liked my actual Optometrist and her support staff I will not go back because of their optical side (contacts/glasses.) First off they ordered the wrong contacts. And because I opened them not knowing they were the wrong brand, I couldn’t return them. I will say that once I addressed it with the actual optometrist, she apologized and has said they’d ship me the correct ones at no cost. I’ve yet to receive them but it’s only been two days. But…I also ordered glasses same time I ordered the contacts which was 3 Jan and it’s now 4 March. They told me two days ago they were arriving yesterday. They have not.
