Grateful to have been able to make appt.and update insurance online before hand. Promptly seen by by Dr. Christina & team who efficiently & very kindly, listened, checked vitals, diagnosed me, & called in prescription. Writing this on the day after, and I am FINALLY feeling beginning better. I should have come sooner! Thank you, CityMD

I’d leave a positive review for City MD at Broadway and West 88th Street even if I hadn’t retested negative for COVID. For one thing, the test I needed was readily avaible there. Earlier, I returned to the Mount Sinai urgent care on Columbus, where I’d tested positive, and requested a retest, only to be told that the test I needed, the “rapid test,” wasn’t avaible there, and that I’d have to wait ninety days to retake the test I’d been given initially. I pointed out that I hadn’t been told this when I tested positive and that the information was missing from the after-visit summary on my Mount Sinai chart. Fortunately, the receptionist I was speaking with was sympathetic and directed me to the nearest City MD, where after a brief wait I was given the retest and told I was now negative fo

Thanks for saving my life!! City MD took X-rays of my lungs after seeing my vitals and then promptly called an ambulance. Despite being in my mid-30s and generally healthy, a specialist at the hospital later told I might not have made it if I had come in much later. Apparently I had sepsis, the flu and double pneumonia. Two days earlier, I had gone to a different urgent care with nearly identical vitals (low oxygen, high fever, very elevated heart rate, etc.) and was sent home to rest. I spent 4 days hooked up to a high-flow oxygen machine in the hospital miserable but grateful to be alive. So glad I got a second opinion and plan to go to this location instead going forward.

Although there was a bit of a wait despite few patients in the waiting room, my possibly infected finger was promptly treated with due care and attention from all healthcare providers. I appreciated Dr. Godwin’s trust in my testimony that there might have been something in my finger and referred me to a specialist to follow up on my healing process. Front desk staff was also helpful and kind!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU HAVE HOURS TO WAIT Only giving one star for the xray tech who was extremely nice. After going to 104th street to be seen I was told I had to go get X-rays at the 88th location. I arrived at 4:30 and was told it would Be 20-30 minute wait as the tech was on break. At 5:30 I followed up and was told she would be with me shortly. At 5:50 a guy who looked like the office manager came around asking if everyone had been helped. I said no and said I’d been waiting an hour and a half. Guy next to me, who came in after me, said he was waiting for his x ray results. I told the manager that now this was not ok as he came after me and I was told I’d be first. He gave a half ass apology and tried to explain it away As the tech was on break until 5:30. Ther
